GFWC Fireside Juniorettes

The GFWC Fireside Juniorettes is a young Girl’s organization that meets on the first and third Thursday on the Month in the Fellowship Hall.

The objective of this GFWC Fireside Juniorettes is to bring together young people to develop and encourage the interests and talents of individual members, to work as a unified group, to do volunteer service, to improve the community and to cooperate with other Federated clubs.

 Membership includes individuals 7th – 12th grade.  At year end an assembly for the incoming 7th – 9th is held and invitations distributed for the May Mother’s Day celebration meeting.

 Projects include Operation Smile, Heifer International, collections for the animal shelter, Cinderella Dress Drive, Mother’s Day Tea, table hostess and modeling in the Aransas Pass Annual Fashion Show. Sponsor and organize the Annual Trunk-or-Treat. Conduct Annual Food Drive with Ingleside Primary School, where the top classes in each grade level wins a pizza party, in which the Juniorettes are their hostess. Participate in the Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree and the Annual Library Christmas Celebration.

 The GFWC Fireside Juniorettes are the care takers of the Ingleside Triangle. These ladies weed, plant, water and keep the triangle beautiful. The Juniorettes and the GFWC Ingleside Woman’s Club were deeded the property for 99 years.
